What to do in Los Angeles?

I am from San Francisco and I will go to southern CA during the last weekend of June to make some trips school-USC and UCLA. I have 23 years of age and traveling with my boyfriend, the two are going to be there for that weekend. What things / places we go to see or do? The We both went to Universal Studios a few years ago, but is it worth it to return? We went to Hollywood … not found it so funny. We've also been on the beach in Santa Monica and it was nice. What bars / clubs are popular? Is there much to do in Beverly Hills, just want to eye the houses and shops =). What are some good restaurants? I love to shop, what are the shopping centers right around it? We have some friends who live in Los Angeles but I thought I was going to give them an itinerary of things I want to do. Thanks!

While the list of Paris is pretty awesome, it needs editing and organizing, among other things. Coverting from CAPS would be helpful. Since you've done the main things, here are some other things to try: Disneyland: There are too many people that weekend. Skp it. Universal Studios: I would say once every ten years is enough. Hollywood: I know you said you had been there. Did you the Hollywood & Highland complex? It has lots of shops and restaurants and the Kodak Theatre (home of the Oscars). I like the El Capitan theater, because has been restored to its former glory, where you can watch the latest film by Disney. Rodeo Drive, 90210: Packed with exclusive shops, full of gawkers. All of them came to enjoy the excess. Free, unless you intend to buy something. Venice Beach: Have you visited this and Samo? Los Angeles, kitsch and culture over the top in best. Here you'll find Muscle Beach, street performers and tacky shops abundance. Funny, interesting, but I avoid it at night, when there was a very little interest for me. And it's a short bike ride from: Santa Monica Beach and Pier: Even if you've been there, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co's always fun …. Santa Monica Third Street Promenade – shopping promenade of Santa Monica is often the scene of movie star-sightings. A short walk from the pier in Santa Monica. Sunset Boulevard: Perhaps one of the most famous streets in the world, began as a route between the neighborhoods of the stars of luxury and Hollywood studios. It runs from downtown to the sea, passing by the "Sunset Strip" on its way. It becomes a fun drive. Along the way, you see a lot of different neighborhoods. Hollywood, West Hollywood, Bel Air, and Pacific Palisades. On reaching the coast, stop at Gladstone's for Fish. Queen Mary: Once the largest ship afloat, has been docked in Long Beach for longer than it came out, and her elegance never fails to impress. Free to visit. You can actually stay on board for a price. Farmers Market and The Grove – A new shopping complex right next a milestone in Los Angeles, The Grove and Farmers Market coexist. Enjoy a movie or go shopping, then take the trolley to the Farmers Market for lunch or dinner. Farmer's Market is located next to CBS, so walk across the lot to see if you are recording "The Price is Right." You might even get in Griffith Park – Home of Los Angeles Zoo, Griffith Park Observatory, Travel Town, the Greek Theatre, and Gene Autry Museum of Western Heritage. Getty Museum – The Getty architecture is so beautiful that it keeps me fascinated. No matter if you like their art or architecture better (or maybe just enjoy the view), the Getty is sure to please. Free. Attend to recording TV – You can get free tickets audiencesunlimited.com, or see the booth at Universal City Walk. It's very interesting to see a show that was recorded. The most popular, for now, is the show tonight. Visit the NBC website for all the details there. Places to eat: In-N-Out Burger: Multiple locations, at best burgers in Los Angeles, ask anyone. Pink Hot Dogs: 709 N. La Brea, north of Melrose. You may see a celebrity. Chile Tommy Burgers: Look for the shack, a tradition of The Angeles. Original location of Beverly and Rampart, a couple miles west of the city. Canter's Deli: 419 N. Fairfax, between Beverly and Melrose. Near CBS, might spot a celebrity. Phillippe: 1001 N. Alameda. Great roast beef sandwiches. Near Union Station, Olvera Street. Add the mustard, hot. Where to stay: In Hollywood, I recommend the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel and the Farmer's Daughter Hotel. In Anaheim, I recommend the Hojo Anaheim, and the Candy Cane Inn. If you want to splurge and make this a memorable trip, stay at Disney's Grand California. You get the full Disney experience. If you do not need to stay in the park, then stay at the Doubletree on Harbor, or even the Orange on Chapman. In Santa Monica, the Holiday Inn Santa Monica is close to the pier and reasonably priced. Places to Shop: South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, Fashion Island, Paseo de Newport Beach Third Street, Santa Monica Citadel Outlets, Commerce Beverly Center, Los Angeles The Block at Orange, Orange Ontario Mills, Ontario
