Shopping Mall Finder
What are the best states to move to? Not too far from Ohio (max 8 hours)?
My fiance and I are moving out of state in less than one year. Searching on craigslist and apartment finder are not the best resources. We would like to move to a urban city, with shopping malls, city buses/trains, somewhere a young nice couple would have fun and enjoy.
We absolutely do not want to live in a racist city.. we like all types of people so a multicultural state would be nice, like Ohio (we live there now, we’ve been here for 18 years and we are ready for a change)
We are starting a family when we move so it has to be a nice, quiet, and safe area.
I’ve already looked into the following states
*Georgia
*Maryland
*Kentucky
Maybe if someone even knows a bit more info about these states.

If I were you I would consider North Carolina. We are probably at the end point of the 8hr. max criteria but you can make it in 8. Let me suggest you consider Asheville. Considered by many to be the “Santa Fe” of the east coast, Asheville is a beautiful city, very non racist, a diverse, cultural and artsy community it has much to offer.
