Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, PlayNow application close to the force?

I recently bought the Xperia X10 itself and while I was aware of the applications, I found the error (?) msg in the application media saying "the application has stopped unexpectedly.please PlayNow try again." I do not know what I pressed, but i can'tseem to open the application. Is there any way to remove / correct the error without rebooting the phone? I have fear that I could cause more problems if I have to restart. I also tried to find answers online, but I can not find any. pls if anyone has any idea to help aa solve this problem, thank you very much in advance!

My wife is doing the same problem. Resetting the phone did not help. I called SE tech support and try to exchange the SD card, but to no avail. My guess is that we must find a way to stop loading when opening PlayNow Mediascape. My phone works well however. This person has made a full recovery and that worked for him though: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=657573 EDIT: AGAIN PHONE RESET. This time it worked! YOU NEED YOUR SUPPORT CONTACTS IN SIM or SD card and reinstall all your applications one at a time. My guess is that there could been an application that was causing this.
