Age of empires 2? Can I buy the game online and download it?

Is there a way to buy age of empires 2 online and then download the full version? if so where? also today i bought the game at the store but…i didnt realize it says for macintosh…i have a windows xp. so is there any way maybe to still play it?

As far as I can tell, AOE 2 isn’t available for download. Also, it’s been discontinued so you better try to get it while you can. And since you bought a legit copy of the game you’d be morally in the clear if the store won’t exchange it for you and you decided to get a windows copy by… less than legitimate means.
