Buy Online Furniture In India
Is there a way to buy things from china?
I am from India. I do not own any business. I am in the process of renovating my house. I was thinking if it was possible to buy some furniture’s for my home from china since it is cheaper there. Is there an online shopping mall or something in china where consumers can shop for furniture’s, lighting etc and have them shipped to india?
I found a few websites like alibaba, made-in-china etc, but they take bulk orders and would be suitable for business people only, not individual.
I also found that the price is not stated for the goods in those sites. They ask us to inquire from the manufacturers… This makes online shopping experience sloppy.
And shipping of the goods also is a confusing thing. They ask for a container load to be filled. But how would I know how many things fit in a container…. These things make the task of simple shopping so complicated
Can somebody help me in this respect? Any help wud be appreciated.

Gee, if you were in the US, I would say, just go to any store. EVERYTHING sold here, is made in China. Period! You have to really search for things made any place else.
I’m sure you can find such things online. Just search for the brand name, and shop around for the best prices and be careful about the shipping! They might just get you on the shipping for furniture!
